Muehlenbeckia axillaris is a dense, fast-growing groundcover or climber with small round shiny leaves and wiry stems. Can form an attractive mat. Provides habitat for native copper butterflies. Masses of small, cream coloured flowers appear in summer, followwed by small white berries, which birds and geckos love! Tolerant of wind and drought. Typically grows to around 20 x 100cm. Can grow in full sun or partial shade.
