'Red Dragon’ is a very hardy weeping Red Japanese maple. This Japanese maple cultivar is known in the trade to hold its red color extremely well even late in hot summers. The Red Dragon Japanese Maple is a deep maroon to burgundy throughout the summer and turns to a bright red in the fall. It has a beautiful dissected leaf with predominant bottom lobes that give it is dragon horns look.
