An upright robust Waratah once established. Long stems are topped with terminal scarlet red flowers in early Spring.
Suited to free draining soils in full sun, but can tolerate light shading. Avoid fertilisers with phosphate. Pruning after flowering in mid-late Spring is essential to maintain size and shape as well as enhancing the next years flowering.
