Pātītī
Poa cita is also called Silver tussock. It is a fast-growing tawny green tussock. Clump forming with needle-like floage that looks lovely when planted en mass as it sways in the breeze. Its feathery flower heads are borne above the clump of foliage in early summer. Seeds are easily wind-dispersed and can easily self-seed. Due to its resilient nature, it is often used in low maintenance landscape plans for borders, rock gardens, and for erosion control.
Preferrring a full sun position, tolerant of light shade, coastal conditions, and drought.
Grows to around 70cm.
