Helichrysum argyrophyllum, the Golden Guinea Everlasting Daisy is a clumping perennial the a spreading habit.
It is native to South Africa where it can be seen growing in the wild over rocks and areas of hot, dry barren ground.
It as small silver/grey leaves and from late summer into autumn it is covered with masses of bright yellow everlasting daisies. It makes a great ground cover in open sunny spots and is perfect for sunny rockeries.
This is a tough plant that providing it is planted in a sunny open spot will survive heat, drought and even frost.
Soil: Well drained soil, fairly infertile soil in a warm position.
Maintenance: Low maintenance.
Prune lightly after flowering to maintain shape
