Sought after for their coastal hardiness, disease free status and easy to grow reputation, New Zealand native Corokia are also excellent for clipping. Whether it’s a hedging plant you’re after, or something to mould into a more fanciful shape, Corokia is your plant!
Corokia Clover is one of the best selections for clipping due to its short internodes, which make the plant a lot denser and more compact than other varieties. Left unclipped, Clover forms a lovely textural shrub in its own right.
Produces small, yellow, star-shaped flowers followed by small, golden-yellow berries in autumn.
Plant in well-drained soil in sun to part shade. Evergreen. Unpruned, this corokia typically grows to around 1.5 x 1.2m.
