It's not only humidity, heat and drought tolerant, it produces masses of elegant, long stemmed, light blue flowers, held high above stunning green and creamy-yellow variegated foliage. So even when its not in flower, Meerlo never fails to impress and can be relied on for a captivating, year-round display. Brushing past the foliage, especially on a hot day, relases the soothing aroma of essential lavender oil and flower stems are great for picking. Meerlo forms a dense, compact bush and benefits from a good trim in late winter / early spring to maintain shape and freshen up the foliage. Equally as good in the garden as it is in containers.
