An amazingly adaptable sedge for year-round interest, Carex comans is an evergreen, perennial grass with a graceful, arching, clump-forming, non-invasive habit. The narrow leaves are silvery with a green reverse, arching over with an attractive curl at the tips, giving a mobile effect to any planting. This sedge will cope with droughty, dry soils and with poorly drained soils, and is free from pest and disease attacks. Comb through the foliage in spring to remove any dead foliage. Particularly good with brightly coloured flowers, in a block planting or hanging over a low wall; also good in containers. 40x40cm
