The dwarf, evergreen rock rose Cistus x skanbergii, develops into a low spreading shrub to 60cm high by up to 1.5m wide.
Smokey pale pink one inch flowers occur heaviest in late spring, with lighter blooming in summer and autumn. Great for hot spots in full sun, and is drought tolerant once established. Good for erosion control, hillsides or perennial gardens.
It is a natural hybrid between Cistus monspeliensis and Cistus parviflorus.
