Daphne 'Eternal Fragrance' is the award-winning variety that overcame all the traditional hurdles associated with Daphne growing. Backed by thirty years of research and development, 'Eternal Fragrance' is the brainchild of the renowned plant breeder, Robin White.
During spring, 'Eternal Fragrance produces tight clusters of classic white flowers at the tips of its deep green foliage. However, the display doesn't end there with this variety; flowers will continue to spot bloom repeatedly throughout the year. 'Eternal Fragrance' has an exquisite perfume. Daphne lovers will be familiar with the intoxicating fragrance of the common Daphne odora species and will be delighted with this new take on the daphne scent.
To top things off, it is frost hardy and both heat and dry tolerant. This Daphne performs in sunny sites without scorching. 'Eternal Fragrance' is also tolerant of alkaline and acidic soils, unlike other daphnes that are traditionally pH-sensitive. Plant it alongside its sister 'Spring Pink Eternal Fragrance' for a colour contrast when in bloom.
