Medium sized fruit with a smooth green skin with red dots. Sweet aromatic flavour, slightly gritty, soft and juicy pulp.
Habit - Upright and spreading habit.
Size - 4 x 4m.
Pollination - Although classed as self-infertile, pollination is by larger birds such as Thrushes and Black Birds. These birds will travel some distance for their food and therefore pollination in the home garden is generally not an issue with 1 plant. I personally have never seen a feijoa tree without fruit on it in a home garden. Remember though planting 2 different ones will give you a longer season of delicious fruit.
Harvest - Mid to late season May / June.
