Hebe Wiri Charm is a cultivar raised by Jack Hobbs of the Auckland Regional Botanic Gardens, New Zealand, and is a cross between Hebe diosmifolia and Hebe speciosa.
The evergreen and compact shrub is slow growing and can reach a height of 0.75m and a spread of 1m. Like other hebes the Wiri Charm has spear shaped leaves that grow alternate of thin reddish branchlets. In summer purple pink flowers will appear.
This Hebe does well in full sun and tolerates a range of soils and coastal conditions. It benefits from a regular trim.
