When it comes to a striking plant statement there's nothing like lime! Flowering in winter this fabulous hellebore has distinctive marbled and veined leathery leaves which are a feature in themselves. Then comes a mass of lime green flowers through the winter months.
Hellebores are exceptional winter interest plants, also known as Winter Roses for the stunning flower displays when very little else is flowering in the garden. Cut the stems to bring a beautiful boquet of flowers indoors.
Hellebores will tolerate some sun but in the main they are shade lovers, enjoying moist free draining soil and dappled light.
