A small blue hosta with wavy-edged leaves and vase-shaped habit. Lavender summer flowers.
From Herb Benedict's breeding line from H. 'Dorset Blue' comes this 4th generation seedling. H. 'Salute' is a uniquely upright grower in the habit of a dwarf H. 'Krossa Regal'. Each 20cm long x 10cm wide, slightly wavy leaf of powdery blue is held upright on this compact clump. In early summer, the 60cm wide clump is topped with 60cm scapes of nearly white flowers...very unique!
