Very large cup shaped ivory bracts edged with pink are borne in Spring. Best grown in an open sunny aspect. Though it lacks bright colours, the sheer military precision of those creamy cones rising out of such handsome deep green foliage is deeply satisfying. This is a plant that needs a simple setting so the elegant lines don't become overwhelmed by brighter, but less shapely competition. Like all leucadendrons, it needs a hard prune in early spring as the bracts fade...
