Looks and tastes like an apple, but has the skin and texture of a pear. A NZ bred hybrid of European and Asian pears with stunning almost fluoroescent pinkish red skin. Reddy Robin has a sweeter and more complex flavour than the traditional nashi, but with the same juciness. Partially self fertile, but will fruit more if other pears are nearby to assist.
Grows to around 4 x 3m.
