An evergreen shrub with 8cm long, oval, greyish-green, pointed leaves with serrated edges.
It has an open habit with many spreading branches.
Sprays of lovely golden/yellow, open-faced, funnel-shaped flowers are borne in winter.
It is frost tender, so best not planted in cold spots of the garden. Prefers full sun to light shade. Erect growth habit to about 1m.
Named after Kaspar G Reinwardt - a botanist and curator of the Botanical Gardens in Leiden, Netherlands. It is grown in Europe as an indoor plant.
